A digital photo collage titled Collage No. 1 by artist and photographer Don Werner (1929-2010), created in 1999. This collage depicts an abstracts composition of undulating shapes rendered with blue and orange. It is signed and dated in graphite to the lower left corner. Artist label attached to the verso. This work is matted and presented in a metal frame under glass.
Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.

- to fair; some toning to paper; half inch chip to glass at top edge of frame; scratches and marks to frame; foxing to verso; glass could benefit from being cleaned; fitted with wire hanging to verso.
