An antique hand embroidered Banjara Kuchi tapestry. The center of the tapestry features hand embroidered piecework of elephants, horses and bird imagery in a palette of brown, rust, teal and yellow. The design is surrounded by an alternating compound border of flowers embellished with reflective silver-tone coins. The piece is complete with a stitched border, brown fabric backing, and is unmarked.
