A pair of framed Chinese embroidery on silk. These original 18th and 20th century Chinese silk embroidery pieces feature hand-embroidery. The smaller piece presents a garden scene of flowers and birds embroidered on a yellow silk scarf. The piece is presented behind a decorative mat, behind glass in a black wood frame. The larger piece features an embroidered garden scene on a white silk sleeve. It is presented behind a white mat, behind glass in a black wood frame. The verso of the piece is marked in handwriting ‘Sleeve Embroidery circa 18th century.’
