A mixed media collage comprised of digital photographs and watercolor paints on paper of an abstract composition by listed artist Don Werner (American, 1929 – 2010), dated 2000. Signed and dated by the artist in graphite to the lower left, on the white mounting surface. Presented in a silver-tone metal frame under glass. To the verso is a gallery label.
Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.

- minor wear to the frame including a loosening joint to the lower left; dust along the edges of the mat, under the rabbet; foxing to the verso.
