Vintage Spinet Piano Desk

A vintage spinet piano desk by Shifener Piano. This style of handmade desk was produced in the 1920’s-40’s from reassembled square case pianos of the previous century which had worn out and become unfashionable. This piece features walnut construction with a hinged desk cover which opens to reveal compartmentalized storage and a writing surface. The desk is supported by four thick, turned legs.

Condition

- worn spot in the center of upper desk top; a hole has been cut into the back corner to facilitate with wiring of electronics; wear to edges.
