A collection of Japanese red claret colored cloisonné. The set features enamel over silver-tone metal with cloisonné decoration of pink roses and an orange-breasted blue bird. Hidden underneath the burgundy glaze are soaring birds and koi fish. The set includes a pair of vases, footed compote, and cloth-lined trinket box.
Condition
- one vase and the box have cracks and a chip as shown; compote has spots or pitting inside.
