An abstract collage on paper using digital photographs by listed artist Don Werner (American, 1929 – 2010). The work depicts an abstract composition color photographs and geometric line. Images are cut into irregular shapes and some are even layered. Signed in graphite to the right edge of the image. Presented floating and mounted under glass in a metal frame.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.

- to fair; some wear around edge of frame; residue on glass; glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, large areas of discoloration; small areas of foxing to the paper; right paper edge burn damage.
