An abstract mixed media collage consisting of photographs and watercolor on paper by listed artist Don Werner (American, 1929 – 2010). The work depicts and abstracted composition with a background of primary color tones. Signed and dated ‘’96’ in graphite to the bottom left. Presented matted under acrylic glass in a wooden frame with wire hanger to verso.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.
