1955 and 1957 U.S. Mint Coin Sets
Item Details
A pair of 1955 and 1957 U.S. Mint coin sets. Each set contains a Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, and Benjamin Franklin half dollar. The coins are presented in a cellophane pouch with an octagonal foil seal imprinted with ‘US MINT PHILADELPHIA’. The half-dollar, dime, and quarters are 90% silver and 10% copper. They have a combined weight of approximately 19 grams per set. The nickels are 75% copper and 25% nickel and weigh approximately 5 grams each. The pennies are 95% copper and each is approximately 3.11 grams. Condition: Good.
