An antique hand-knotted Russian Soumak accent rug. This rug features a center purple hued stripe flanked by crenulated medallions in a palette of cream, rust, gray-blue, olive green and orange. The rug has a compound border of geometrical designs within the same color scheme and outer purple hued stripes which end in natural warp fringe. The rug is unmarked.
