Silver and Bronze Age “Avengers” Comics

A grouping of Silver and Bronze Age Comics from the original Avengers Series. This grouping contains issues 63 (April 1969), 64-65 (June – July 1969), 70 (November 1969) and 92 (September 1971). The issues of interest are issues 63, which sees the character Goliath taking on the superhero identity of Yellowjacket as well as Clint Barton becoming the new Goliath; and 92 which features cover art by renown comic artist Neil Adams and was the last issue to have a 15 cent cover price. Each comic is held in a protective plastic sleeve and is further supported with cardboard backings.
Condition
- to fair; various degrees of light to moderate wear to the spines and covers of the comics; light to moderate discoloration on the covers; page yellowing on some of the comics; light tears and cracking to the spine of some comics; color cracking on the cover of issue 63; each comic is protected from further wear by being held in plastic sleeves and further supported with cardboard backings.
