Antique William Gilbert "Tuscan" Marble Palor Clock

An antique William Gilbert of Bristol, Connecticut ‘Tuscan’ parlor clock, circa 1910s, featuring copper tone metal with marble columns and base slab. The dial is porcelain with moving cog to the center. There is a hanging pendulum featuring the sun-like motif with a Classical face to the center. To the verso, the movement is marked ‘Wm Gilbert Clock Co Winsted Conn U.S.A.’ The whole clock stands on openwork Rococo-style feet. Clock includes a winding key.

Condition

- clock does not run nor chime at this time; cracks to the scrolled leg base
