A set of two hand-colored halftone prints on paper after botanical illustrations by listed French artist Jean Louis Prévost (1760-1810). Featured are Tulip and Peonies, No. 5, as well as Larkspur, Primula, Narcissus, Carnation and Phlox, No. 2. The works feature hand painted accents in blue, pink, cream, yellow, green and brown. Each one includes title and artist name printed in plate below the image. The prints are presented under glass in rustic wooden frames with wire hangers affixed to the verso of each.

Condition

- toning to paper; tear to top center of Tulip print; surface wear and scratches present to frames; wear and tears to backing boards of frames.
