A 1966 pastel drawing on paper attributed to artist Lola Breidbart. The still life image depicts an assortment of flowers and fruit situated next to a draped tablecloth. The work features hues of green, blue, teal, white, yellow, mauve and brown. The piece is signed ‘L.B. 66’ in blue paint to the lower right; it is additionally noted ‘Lola Breidbart’ in pen to the frame’s paper backing. It is double matted in yellow and cream and presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- toning and acid burns to mats; stains to outer mat along right edge; scratching and wear to frame; tears and adhesive residue to frame’s backing paper;
