Item Details
A gouache painting on paper titled Study for Reader’s Digest – March by well-listed artist Stanley W. Galli (1912 – 2009). The work depicts an American Western scene with mounted riders in a verdant valley with snow-capped mountains to the background. Signed in graphite by the artist to the lower right corner of the painting. Mounted onto black construction paper next to a square of red construction paper with the tittle. Presented on a white backing, under acrylic glass, and housed in a black wood frame.
Condition
- pinholes to the upper corners of the piece from previous mounting; piece falling slightly in frame; some glue on piece loosing tack along edges.
