A vintage Acushnet Process Company Mid Century style ‘Elasta Seat’ chair. The chair features an elongated rectangular backrest and seat cushion upholstered with pink knit fabric, a dark wood frame with carved narrow spindle arms which angle upward at the hand holds and tapered legs. The seat is comprised of a wood frame with a patented ‘Elasta Seat’ mat, promoted to be ‘more comfortable than any other seat’ in its time.
