Vintage German Beer Steins
Item Details
A grouping of three vintage beer steins depicting courting couples. The tallest stein is cream and green and features a German phrase translated as ‘Noble pursuits are Drink and Love.’ The middle stein depicts a man wooing his love with song and is inscribed with the German phrase ‘I drink what’s clear; I speak what’s true.’ The third stein depicts a couple in an intimate embrace and the phrase roughly translated as ‘To dance, come with me.’ All feature hinged pewter lids.
