Vintage Hinged Frame Black Handbags
Item Details
A pair of vintage, black handbags, both with hinged frames in a classic doctor’s bag style. The larger is a rectangular handbag with a flat bottom, two interior zipper pockets, gold tone hardware including a rectangular top clasp with the engraved initials ‘LBA’, and an attached black coin purse, also with a kissing clasp. It is labeled ‘Nada Fashions Trademark Exclusive With Best & Co.’ The other handbag is reversible. It has black beads on one side, and white beads on the other, with a gold tone clasp and black beaded handle. No maker’s marks.
Condition
- light surface wear and marks; small hole and stain to interior of beaded purse; clasp of larger purse is engraved “LBA”
