Marble Top Antique Dresser with Rosewood Veneer

Item Details

An antique marble top dresser with a rosewood veneer. The dresser has a pivoting oval mirror supported by curled arms with scrolled acanthus leaf relief carvings. On each side of the mirror is a small raised drawer with a removable white and grey marble top in between. The lower portion of the dresser has three full length drawers with round pull handles and hand cut dovetail corners. The piece rests on straight legs with canted corners.

Condition

The outside shows some scratches and wear. The inside of the drawers has scratches and wear as well as loose bases and a slight odor in some drawers. There is some separation in the framing of the mirror and some staining on the marble top and two missing drawer pulls
