Locks from Standard Oil Company and the S.S. United States Ship
Item Details
A pair of locks. This pair includes a framed brass lock from the Standard Oil Company of Kentucky’s Atlanta Shop with a note attached to its green felt verso dating the piece to the early 1900s to 1958. Also included is a lock and key from the A-Deck Galley of the S.S. United States U.S. Lines passenger cruise ship. This lock includes a key with a leather keychain stamped with the ships name on its front and the lock location in black ink to its back.
Condition
- heavy rust consistent with age; scratches and dust to frame.
