A slant front secretary desk with walnut finish from Maddox Furniture Company out of Jamestown, New York. This desk features a rounded beveled top above two glass paneled doors that open to reveal two glass shelves. The top of the cabinet sits upon a hinged fold down writing surface with slotted storage and six small drawers. Below the writing surface are three drawers constructed of dovetail joinery. The drawers have batwing pulls and key hole detail. The interior of a desk drawer is marked ‘Maddox of Jamestown N.Y.’
