Item Details
A serigraph on paper titled Rain on the river by listed artist Elton Bennett (1910 – 1974). The piece depicts the silhouettes of three tree trunks floating on the water while a flock of birds are posing in the rain. Signed in plate to the lower right of the composition. Additionally signed and titled in plate to the lower margin. Presented behind glass, beneath an off-white mat, housed in a wood frame with a gilt accent.
Condition
- glass would benefit from cleaning; minor toning to mat; minor toning to paper along mat edges; minor wear and scratches to frame.
