Late 19th Century Allen and Darwin Mother of Pearl Pickle Fork

A delicately fashioned late 19th-century pickle fork from English maker Allen and Darwin. This piece features a mother of pearl handle and silver plate end, with embossed detail to collar and incised decoration to front surface of fork itself. The reverse side of metal bears the marks A & D S, with each character in a square shape that has rounded corners. The collar is also marked ‘ED 293I63.’
