Vintage Twin Bed With Bobbin Turnings

Item Details

A vintage twin bed with bobbin turnings. This early twentieth century bed features extended banister posts with bobbin turnings of rings and balls on each corner with the headboard including a scalloped crest and the footboard including a straight rail crest. Both headboard and footboard have turned spindles set in a banister design over lower support rails and the bed rests on turned ball and trumpet legs ending in casters. The mahogany headboard and footboard have been married to pine panel rails with notches cut out for slats (not included).
