Salvador Dalí Original Limited Edition Engraving with Pochoir "Le Cavalier et la Cerf"

An original engraving with color added by pochoir on wove paper by extremely prolific Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dalí (1904 – 1989), titled Le Cavalier et la Cerf from the artist’s series Le Bestiarie de la Fountaine. The print depicts a woman on horseback leaping towards a deer in an expansive minimalist landscape. The print is signed and numbered 136/250 in pencil to the lower corners. It is matted in speckled white linen with a gold tone fillet. It is presented behind non-glare glass in a fine wooden frame with cast seamless corner embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. Included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali” by Albert Field, catalogue field 74-1 on page 92.
