A vintage hand colored lithograph after well-listed artist Robert Dodd (1748-1816) titled View of the River & Shipping at Simehoute. The print depicts a bustling river shipping port with people, animals, ships and buildings in the distance. The work is signed in plate by the artist to the lower left, and marked ‘Plate 2.d of a Collection of the Sea Ports & of the River Thames,’ in plate to the lower right. The print is presented under acrylic in a black and gold-tone wooden frame with hanging wire affixed to verso.

Condition

- slight edge wear to frame; visible discoloration likely from mat burn.
