A gelatin silver print after an original photograph titled Cathedral Spires and Rocks by well-listed American photographer Ansel Adams (1902-1984), originally dated 1949. Printed by Alan Ross in 1993 as part of the ‘Special edition: Photographs of Yosemite, Ansel Adams’. This black and white photograph features a serene landscape with a body of water surrounded by lush trees and majestic abrupt mountains appearing from the background. The work presents a signature in plate after the well-listed photographer embossed to the lower margin of the matting. An informational gallery label with publishing information reading ‘Printed by Alan Ross under supervision of The Ansel Adams Gallery and The Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trusts.’ is adhered to the verso. Presented beneath white matting, behind acrylic glass, housed in a black frame.
