Mexican Sterling Silver and Navajo Style Jewelry With Turquoise and Abalone

An assortment of sterling silver jewelry and accessories with abalone and turquoise; including one belt buckle, one pair of earrings, one pendant necklace, and two pendants. The Guadalajaran belt buckle features floral motifs and abalone shell inlay. It is stamped with a Mexican Eagle hallmark, and, ‘Plata De Jalisco 925 V.H.L.C. Guad. Mex.’ The unmarked Navajo style earrings and pendant necklace feature bearpaws with turquoise cabochons in shadowbox frames, housed in sawtooth bezels. The earrings also have feather dangles, and are finished with clutch back posts. The necklace is finished with a rolo chain, and spring ring clasp. The pendants feature Mesoamerican tribal motifs, including a Mayan calendar. The square pendant is stamped, ‘Sterling 925 FBG Mexico’. The calendar pendant is stamped, ‘Sterling 925’, and with an indiscernible pictographic mark. The total approximate group weight, inclusive of all materials, is 3.975 ozt.
