An offset lithograph on paper after Morris Louis’ (1912-1962) original 1960 painting titled Point of Tranquility. This work features Louis’ signature Color Field style exhibiting strips of vibrant colors overlapping and bleeding throughout the surface. A label from The Print Gallery is adhered to the verso. The print is presented under glass in an off-white composite wood frame.
Condition
- hanging wire to the verso orients the print upside down; hanging wire needs adjustment; minor scratches throughout frame; minor smudges and liquid marks throughout glass.
