Item Details

A pair of mid-century sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by the Ellmore Silver Company of Meriden, CT (1935-1960). These feature finial-tops and high domed pierced caster lids, over long flaring necks and round bodies. They rise upon flaring hoof feet with applied ram’s head medallions. They are marked underneath with the ‘E’ and lion figural mark, as well as ‘sterling’ and 805. The total approximate weight is 9.390 ozt.
