A Republic Steel Company wooden factory mold. This black round shaped wooden mold sits on a rounded square platform. It tapers up to a point about halfway up then tiers off creating a second point with the letters ‘DRI’ written to the top in yellow. Written to each side also in yellow is ‘Republic Steel’ along with a partially recognized number. This mole is mounted on two rectangle pieces of unfinished wood with the letter ‘DRI’ written in yellow. In 1927 after combining several other steel companies, Cyrus S. Eaton named his conglomerate Republic Steel. This corporation was headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and became America’s third largest steel company,
