Mexican Alpaca Silver and Green Onyx Bracelet Signed Anita Tacke
Item Details
A Mexican Alpaca silver bracelet awl-signed ‘Anita Tacke.’ The metal alloy setting features hinged panels offering prominent beadwork to the base of the bezel-set green onyx segments carved into mask-like faces, while the rectangular onyx pieces are decorated by thin bands of worked metal. The back of the tab closure bears a circular stamped mark ‘Hecho en Mexico DF’ with three letters inside the circle (mark is worn and difficult to read), and below that the word ‘Alpaca.’ One of the segments bears a script signature ‘Anita Tacke’ with the last name ending in a flourish (which may represent an additional letter).
