Early 20th Century Harris & Shafer Ceramic Mantel Clock

Item Details

An early 20th century Haris & Shafer ceramic mantel clock. This clock is comprised of ceramic with hand painted blue flower, gold tone adornments, and gilt accents. The clock face is white with bronze tone hour and minute hands, black numerals, marked ‘Harris & Shafer Washington’, presented beneath glass, and encompassed by a bronze tone metal frame. The bronze tone frame and glass circular glass panel open to allow access to the clock hands. The bottom of the clock is open, and also includes a key and pendulum.

Condition

- craquelure; nicks and discoloration; wear to paint; heavy wear to clock face; tarnishing and discoloration to metal components; untested.
