800 Silver Salt Cellars and Spoon

Item Details

A pair of 800 sterling salt cellars. The pieces have a gold wash on the interior to prevent corrosion as well as glass inserts to further protect the silver. The pieces have beaded borders, a subtly paneled body and further beading at the foot. The molded spoon features a flower terminal and scalloped edges with an impressed ‘800’ mark. The total approximate weight excluding the glass inserts is 1.335 ozt.

• This item has been examined and verified by an independent Graduate Master Gemologist (CINLW).

Condition

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and tarnishing. ;the bowl of the spoon is only attached at one point.
