An antique Colonial Revival platform rocking chair. Features of the dark stained frame include nippled finials at the upper corners, turned spindles composing the seat back and arms, reeded detail on the rockers and platform base, casters under the front feet and bracket feet without casters in the back. The back rest, armrests and seat are upholstered with light blue velour type fabric. Pink ribbon accents the armrests.
