A round handwoven Persian style accent rug. The rug features a blue-grey hexagonal medallion with a central Herati figure, sawtooth borders, tentacled edges, and acanthus pendants. The blue-black field is filled with symmetrically arranged Herati and lancet leaves in shades of red, pink, light blue, green, yellow, white. A Herati and turtle pattern inside the wide red main border, accented by floral patterned cream tone guard borders, encircle the field. The rug is finished with a blue-black cord around the outside edge and long white natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
