A watercolor and gouache painting on paper titled Oriental by American artist Paul Kemp (b. 1928). Portrayed with loose gestural brushstrokes and splotches of pigment, this painting features a seated figure hunched over, with arms around its propped up legs. The painting is signed in ink to the lower center. A descriptive label from L’Atelier Gallery is present to the verso. It is presented behind glass with white matting and silver-tone metallic frame.

- minor scratches throughout frame; remnants of an adhesive label are present to lower right area of glass.
