Antique New Haven Clock Company 8 Day Shelf Clock

Item Details

An antique New Haven Clock Company 8 day chiming shelf clock. The clock has wooden construction with caved wooden details on the top and the sides. The piece rests on two back bracket feet and two front scrolled feet. The clock has a hinged glass front door with glass detailing that opens to reveal the clock movement and a brass pendulum marked with a patent date of March 1, 1881.

Condition

The wood shows wear and scratches and one of the side carvings is loose. The clock face is loose and needs repair and the pendulum is detached. The clock does not come with a clock key and is untested.
