R.C. Gorman Serigraph on Paper "Woman from Maui"

A limited edition serigraph titled Woman From Maui by Native American artist, Rudolph Carl Gorman (1931-2005). Gorman is often referred to as the ‘Picasso of American Indian artwork’ by members of the Navajo Nation. This serigraph depicts a solitary woman who is sitting on the ground wearing a floral dress, which is displayed on a blue background. This piece is pencil signed and dated by the artist in the lower left margin and is numbered 150 out of an edition of 150 to the lower right margin. The print has a single mat and is housed behind glass in a black wooden frame. A copy of the certificate of authenticity is attached to the verso.
