A Golden Age copy of issue #1 of Nightmare a horror-themed comic book published by Ziff-Davis Publishing in the summer of 1952. It features illustrations and pencil drawings of Allen Anderson. The stories include ‘The Fatal Note’ where Walter Gregory makes a deal with the Keeper of the Lighthouse of Death to come clean about his fiance’s death before the one year anniversary. Other titles are ‘Curse of the Whaler Blood Ship’; ‘The Corpse that Wouldn’t Stay Dead’ and ‘The Tunnel of Horror’.
