Tom Lohre Original Limited Edition Serigraph

An original four-color serigraph on paper by Cincinnati artist and inventor Tom Lohre. The print depicts a picturesque street scene, lined with tall overarching trees and quaint storefronts. The piece is printed in CMYK coloring in halftone-style dots. The print is signed and numbered 1 from an edition of 20 in pencil to the lower corners; the artist’s first name is signed “Thos,” a nickname short for Thomas that the artist sometimes used earlier in his career. The print is presented behind glass in a thin pewter tone metal frame with a hanging wire. Lohre claims to be the first to have ever painted a spaceship from life; he also painted the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens from life.
