Item Details

A vintage Gothic style desk. This desk features a framed inset top with rounded outer edge and glass protector cover, over apron sides including a dual drawered front, resting on a trestle base. The drawers include a raised frame edge, escutcheons, carved wood cup pulls, and dovetail joinery. The base includes a carved, scalloped trestle stretcher leading to two sides which each feature a Gothic style trefoil window column flanked by turned ring and trumpet banister supports, rosette applied moldings and scalloped bracket feet finish the design. The interior of each drawer is stamped ‘S.R. Flint’.
