Roma Starczewska Cut Paper Wycinanki
Item Details
A cut paper wycinanki by Polish artist Roma Starczewska (born 1935). This roundel, formed from folded and delicately cut paper, depicts a central layered petal medallion surrounded by oval flowers on a black openwork filigree matrix. This is mounted to a white backing that is signed in the bottom right corner, and presented under glass in a black wooden frame with a sawtooth hanger attached on verso. An envelope is attached on verso with artist information.
Condition
- creases to papers where they were folded to cut; small stains to background to lower left edge.
