An original 2007 mixed media artwork on panel by contemporary American artist Anne Straus (Ohio), titled Reindeer Spirit from a series by the artist titled Listen to Spirit. The piece is an encaustic painting with collaged bone and a bottle cap, patched together to create a face-like composition against an organic-textured background. The pieces are mounted to a panel painted black with a hanging wire to the verso. This series was created in 2007 and was exhibited at the Carnegie Art Center in Covington, KY.
