Brass-tone Rubbing on Black Paper "Lace Lady"

A brass-tone rubbing of Lady Margaret Peyton, also known as the Lace Lady, taken from a brass cathedral plaque of her effigy at St. Andrew’s Church, Isleham, Cambridgeshire, England. This hand rubbing is rendered in brass-toned metallic on black paper. It is presented behind glass, beneath a golden tone mat and housed in a gold-toned frame. Handwritten title and hanging wire are included to the verso.

- slight discoloration to paper; worn frame finish.
