Item Details
A signed limited edition serigraph by well-listed and renowned American Modernist wildlife artist and conservationist Charley Harper (Cincinnati, Ohio; 1922 – 2007) titled Quailsafe, released in 1983. The image depicts a hungry fox, moments after a small flock of quail has fled her presence into the air in an explosion of feathers and dander. Numbered 791 in an edition of 1000, titled and signed by artist in pencil to the lower margin. The print is mounted behind cream liner with a wooden gilt fillet, under glass in a beveled wood frame with a gold leaf finish, equipped to hang. Original label and certificate of authenticity from Frame House Gallery are attached to the verso.
