A 1976 signed limited edition serigraph by well-listed American Modernist wildlife artist and conservationist Charley Harper (Cincinnati; 1922 – 2007), titled Claws. This playful print depicts a geometrically rendered bulldog standing on a beach strewn with seashells, in a confrontational stance with a small dismayed crab. The print is signed and numbered 1245/2000 in pencil in the lower margin; double-matted in orange and brown, mounted behind glass in a silver tone brushed metal frame, equipped to hang.
Condition
- discoloration to print and mats. Glass is chipped to upper right. Frame is scratched lightly throughout.
