A wood engraving on fine B.F.K. Rives printmaking paper after an original watercolor from very well-listed Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dalí’s (1904 – 1989) highly-famed series Divine Comedy. This print is titled Purgatory Canto 18, La Quatrieme Corniche. The print depicts several swirling Surreal figures in various painterly shades of red, purple, orange. A sticker to the verso is signed by Bruce Hochman OS, a Dalí scholar and expert who authored The Print Price Guide to the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali, providing additional authentication.
