Item Details
A Waite Hoyt autographed baseball. Waite signed the ‘sweet spot’ of a Wilson A1010 ‘Official Approved Major League Specifications’ baseball with a blue ink pen. Waite was a pitcher in Major League Baseball from 1918-1938, most notably with the New York Yankees. He was Babe Ruth’s roommate when they were teammates in the 1920s. Waite became a beloved radio announcer for the Cincinnati Reds. He was inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame in 1969. His signature has not been authenticated.
