Antique James W. Tufts etched Box
Item Details
An antique metal box. This box has an etched top and ornate shell and vine motifs around the sides and four ornate feet. The bottom has a maker mark with ‘James W. Tufts, Quadruple Plate, Boston Warranted’; the top is inscribed ‘Lizzie R. Waggener, Dec. 25 ’93’.
Condition
- makers mark to the bottom and etching to the top are very faded; metal is oxidized in the crevices.
